GWA Book Club

Join our “Books and Beyond” Community

Once monthly, GWA facilitators host a book club called “Books and Beyond” for our community to come together to discuss books, chapters, essays, articles, or podcasts that relate to human experiences, lessons, and perspectives. Selections are made based on community input, mission alignment, and representation of marginalized gender identities (either as protagonists, subjects, or the writers themselves) and intend to foster critical thinking, intellectual growth, and curiosity.

Books and Beyond is currently on a summer hiatus but will return in September. Sessions are typically offered via Zoom, with occasional hybrid formats (in-person gathering with Zoom option).

The Fall 2026 schedule will be added soon. Do not forget to subscribe to the GWA Calendar for reminders!

We strongly encourage participating in B&B as a facilitator! Anyone can become a B&B facilitator by reaching out to one of the lead facilitators (see leadership website page) and suggesting a recommended reading they have completed and a willingness to facilitate the discussion with the support of the B&B Team. Note: As of August 1, the Fall 2026 selections have already been made.
