Juneteenth Visit : Facing Georgetown’s History through Art

In observance of Juneteenth, join The Center for the Study of Slavery and Its Legacies, Georgetown University Library and the Georgetown Women’s Alliance for a community gathering to learn about the exhibit “Facing Georgetown’s History through Art.” This event will explore the artwork that emphasizes the enduring legacies of slavery for Georgetown, the descendants of the GU272, and the artists themselves. Refreshments will be served.
