Join our GWA mentorship community for an exciting virtual workshop on executive presence on Thursday, July 30 from 12:00-1:30 p.m. facilitated by Lynn Levis. This workshop helps participants embrace an evolved understanding of executive presence, letting go of outdated models rooted in polish and performance and reframing presence as a practice grounded in authenticity. Participants will articulate their strengths and create a personalized presence plan to continue practicing in their daily lives.

We are also thrilled to host two workshops exclusive to our GWA community to learn together about individual conflict styles, strategies to successfully communicate through conflict,and practice conflict management scenarios in interactive groups. All workshop participants will take the Kraybill Style Matters inventory assessment, a flexible style inventory that shows individuals their preferred style of conflict management and gives detailed suggestions for optimizing each personal conflict style. We will offer a light lunch and refreshments for each workshop.

Let’s start planning our next Books and Beyond selections by hearing which books, podcasts, and articles you’ve enjoyed and would like to share with the rest of the group. Was there a romance novel, a thriller, or a classic that kept you up all night? How about a podcast that kept you in your driveway? Please contribute suggestions from any form of media that excite you and could inspire thoughtful discussion and community building.

Can’t make it to the August 19 meeting, or just want to get a head start? Please add your recommendations to this sheet, and we’ll use the list to plan our meetings for this year.
